One of the most enduring qualities of them to me personally is their ability to think on their own and try to figure out things to get into that won't irritate their owner over much. I love that about them and do tend to encourage their curiosity. I personally want a dog that can find things for themselves to do when I'm busy and they manage to do that and keep me laughing at the same time. These guys without a doubt can do all that and much more. Check back for more Yorkie Cartoons. When I have time I will include some more antics for the Goldenray kids and what they are up to. Seems like they are always either thinking of something to do or better yet finding something they can do for fun. The real trick is to catch them at it and have camera in hand when it occurs. I have found just keeping the camera close at hand for these random shots gives you much more opportunity to catch a great shot of them up to mischief so others will understand why you are always talking about your dog.

Pictures of the kids taken randomly. I could take pictures of them everyday and still come up with new things they are doing funny. They are curious and full of mischief which makes for some great pictures of Yorkies. Some of the wonderful qualities of the breed happen to be their minds. They can be incredibly loving and devoted, yet being such an outgoing dog they are very funny little dogs. This is part of their real life attitude and actions and really shows the character of the breed. I love their curious minds so their antics I find incredibly funny, mainly because they really do find things to do and keep themselves busy doing, yet are also incredibly loving and devoted to their owners.

Maybe some of these might give you a few ideas of your own for something really special. Let me forewarn you though that setup posed shots can be a problem to capture because the dogs are so curious, that I find it can be difficult to get them to sit still for the time needed to get a great shot of them. They're more interested in what you are doing and tend to want to be in on the action rather than sitting still while you are trying to get more out of them. It does require a lot of patience on your part for that great photo as you don't want to scold them for not sitting still and acting in a way that is normal for them. A suggestion is to wait until they are starting to get a little tired to get that posed shot of them. They'll be more inclined to sit for a pose if they are tired somewhat. Most importantly take lots of photos in the pose you've chosen just to get one good one of the setting you are doing with your dog. If you are making some type of card or something similar that you want something more serious or something that has to do with the holidays, so be sure to visit there also. Either way it's always fun to be able to capture great Yorkie photos of your dogs whether it's a serious shot or the dog being a big ham for the camera and showing off.

One of the Yorkies isn't real. After a hard days play it's hard to tell when these guys settle down for the count which is real or not. Some of their favorite games to play are keep a way and have you or another dog chase them with whatever they have and is one of their favorites, or try a gentle game of tug of war. They can be taught almost anything and really enjoy doing different things as they are such curious little dogs. They can be taught any of the common games of frisbee and ball and actually come quite naturally to them.
