Don't assume that show exhibitors only have show dogs in their litters. This is something I hear quite often. There are lots of reasons that a show exhibitor may place a puppy as a pet. Mostly it's just that they want a loving pet home for their baby where they will be doted on for the rest of their lives as they deserve.

Yorkies of good breeding are wonderful in temperament yet are bold, loving and playful. They are good with kids, and a well bred dog makes all the difference in obtaining these qualities for a pet.
Some people use the word hypoallergenic with them and shows they really don't know the breed since no animal really is, although Yorkies do not have undercoat so do not shed the way most dogs do. They will lose hairs here and there like humans do and as such tend to be better to be around for those that do have allergies. If considering one for yourself and you have allergies to dogs, I would advise trying to find a friend that has one and spend the day with them and their dog and see if it bothers you.
